The Board of Zoning Appeals is the County’s appointed review board for any orders, requirements, decisions or determinations made by an administrative officer in the administration or enforcement of the Cumberland County Zoning Ordinance.

Regular meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. and are usually held in the old clerk’s office conference room at the Cumberland Courthouse complex located at 1 Courthouse Circle Cumberland, Virginia 23040. If needed, public hearings are usually held on a regular meeting date in the Cumberland Courthouse Circuit Courtroom. Additional meetings may be scheduled throughout the year as needed with proper public notice.
