There Are Many Ways That You Can Apply For Benefits As Well As Provide Your Worker With Any Necessary Documents.
An application may be obtained at our office, online, or we will mail one to you the same day you request it. We encourage you to file an application the same day you contact the agency. You may return the application to the agency either in person, through an authorized representative, fax, mail or by completing an online electronic application. You may also file an application through the DSS Call Center at (855) 635-4370. Separate rules exist for SNAP (formally known as the Food Stamp Program) and other programs so you should apply even if other programs have limitations on the receipt of benefits.

Social Services Board Meetings :
The Cumberland Department of Social Services Board meets every Fourth Tuesday in the Cumberland DSS Conference room. This meeting is open to the public.
