ROAD CLOSING ON ROUTE 621
FOR Culvert Replacement Project
LYNCHBURG – Motorists should expect delays due to a bridge replacement project on Route 621 in Cumberland County. Route 621 (Brook Hill Road) will be temporarily closed from Route 13 (Old Buckingham Rd) to Route 620 in Amelia County (Stoney Point Rd). Road closure is scheduled to begin April 3, 2023, and is planned until May 12, 2023.
The Department of Transportation will provide adequate signs for the closure and detour of this portion of Route 621, and will use Route 13 Old Buckingham Road, to Route 654 Sunnyside Road, to Route 600 Stoney Point Road, to Route 620 Stoney Point Mill Lane, crossing into Amelia County Route 620 becomes Stoney Point Road, to 621 Fowlkes Bridge Road (Amelia County), back to Cumberland County Route 621 Brook Hill Road.
